The article's reflection on the journey of personal growth and evolving values and beliefs is deeply insightful. It's heartening to see the emphasis on questioning traditional narratives, and overall just the courage to be wrong. This perspective not only highlights the unique strength of the black sheep archetype but also underscores the value of diverse thinking. I feel the call for a deeper, more genuine connection with others. Thank you for the reminder that true growth often comes from challenging our own beliefs and staying open to new perspectives.

I'm glad this served as a helpful reminder for you, Ally (I think we could all use this type of reminder from time). The past few years have been full of personal growth for me, and I deeply believe that if more of us committed to that sort of inner evolution, so much of our outer world would shift along with it.

I really enjoyed reading this, I can relate a lot to what the author said about feeling isolated due to holding different opinions than the people around me. This was great I hope to read more from this author.

I'm so glad to hear this resonated with you, Anna. I think this it's a really common experience these days, to feel confused, isolated, or taken by surprise when certain people we expect to think or feel the same as us about something actually don't. It's helpful to remind ourselves how completely natural this is - and that it's a good thing. We can learn and grow alongside one another.

I love this! How refreshing and insightful to know that in turbulent times, not everyone follows the herd mentality. It’s a wise person the one that can ask the question,”what am I not seeing yet?” Thank you for this beautiful, well written piece.

Very happy to hear you enjoyed this piece, Ana! It can certainly take a lot of courage and humility to ask what we're not seeing or yet aware of. My hope is that this inspires us to bring more curiosity to the differences between ourselves and others.
